Persuaded by poetry, the 2019 conference attending members elected Amman, Jordan as our 2020 meeting place which was finally celebrated on 1-4 November 2022 after a long hiatus due to Covid restrictions. To reunite members face to face at the Network’s cornerstone event was a true pleasure and privilege. Beginning with a welcome reception at the Zenith Lounge of the St. Regis Hotel, followed by a full day of discussion of the turbulence of the last two years in maritime law and shipping at the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel including networking breakfast, lunch, coffee breaks, and a lively closing dinner at the authentically local eatery, Watar Ziryab. Last but not least, participants enjoyed two tours arranged on the 3rd and 4th November to visit some of Jordan’s most iconic sites with ample time to catch up with fellow members after the long intermission!
