Jorge obtained a master’s degree in Maritime Law at Cardiff University, Wales, UK. in 2002. Throughout his career has represented shipowners, plaintiffs in cargo claims, companies and shipyards worldwide at the Maritime Courts in Panama.

Has served as arbitrator on a series of maritime claims against cruise vessels and as Maritime Law Instructor to seafarers on board Panama flagged vessels.

Jorge has also provided legal advice to Seafarers Manning Agencies, Training Centers, Classification Societies, and Shipowners at the Maritime Authorities in Panama.
