Manisha Tiwari is the Managing Partner of the firm and leads its shipping, maritime and international trade practice. An Indian-qualified lawyer with close to two decades of experience, she is widely recognised for her work in complex maritime disputes, ship arrest matters, marine insurance, offshore and energy-related claims, and cross-border commercial litigation and arbitration. Manisha regularly acts for shipowners, P&I Clubs, cargo interests, insurers, oil companies, public sector undertakings and international trading companies in high-stakes and technically complex matters arising from maritime operations and international trade. Her practice spans ship arrest and release proceedings, cargo claims, marine insurance disputes, charterparty and commercial contract disputes, as well as multi-jurisdictional arbitration and litigation. She advises and represents domestic and international clients across several jurisdictions including the United Kingdom, United States, Europe, the Middle East and South-East Asia. Manisha holds an LL.M. in Maritime Law from the Indian Maritime University, graduating as a Silver Medallist, and is also a faculty member at the Indian Maritime University and the Narottam Morarjee Institute of Shipping, where she teaches courses on Merchant Shipping Laws, Carriage of Goods by Sea, Maritime Dispute Resolution and Admiralty Jurisdiction.
